Kellie martin is an American actress in television, film as well as stage actor. Her most well-known roles include Christy Huddleston (Christy) on the drama of the same name Christy", Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Kellie Martin is most well-known for her part as a protagonist on her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Born to a department store owner and a kindergarten teacher, Martin started her acting career at the young age of seven years old when her aunt who worked as a nanny for Michael Landon's children, helped her land an appearance in the 1982 show 'Father Murphy'. After graduating of Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness with roles that she was able to land on the small screen and big. Martin, in addition to being an accomplished actress and dancer, is also a skilled ballet photographer. Her sister, who died from Lupus aged 19 was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus national spokesperson.
